We deliver all aspects of design in a process that flows through floor plan development, space planning, interior detailing of kitchens and bathrooms, paint and wall treatments, lighting, furnishings and flooring, to final installation.
MAXINE’S STORY
Maxine’s approach to design and interiors stems from the idea that the spaces we spend most of our time in should reflect who we are and address a sense of place and person rather than any specific style or trend. Our homes should tell a story about the people for whom it is designed, it should feel comfortable, beautiful, safe and able to withstand the push and pull of modern life. Her firm belief that the quality of our private spaces directly influences the quality of life we experience resonates in every design.
As an interior designer, advocate of timeless architecture and heritage preservation, writer and seasoned traveler, Maxine’s passions lie in storytelling through design. Her work merges the classical and the unexpected often combining unique elements of the past with modern innovation. With an eye for detail, each project results in a space that is elegant yet soulful, sophisticated yet comfortable.
When she is not focused on creating new designs, Maxine enjoys spending time with family and friends at her Okanagan home, as well as deep diving into her hobby as an amateur genealogy sleuth. With a love for travel, Maxine has explored several European destinations and has had the opportunity to take extended sabbaticals which in turn have influenced her designs, often infusing her passion for history and classical details into her beautifully planned interiors.
